Zelostech and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Sign Strategic Agreement; Joint Venture with Emirates Post Enters New Phase

During the Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport 2025, Zelostech’s strategic agreement with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) became a major highlight of the event.

This partnership goes beyond commercial cooperation — it represents a deep alignment with regional regulators and policy-makers, marking Zelostech’s evolution from a technology participant to a co-creator of the future smart mobility ecosystem in the Middle East.

Together, Zelostech and RTA will launch the “Dubai Autonomous Zone”, paving the way for large-scale testing and deployment of next-generation autonomous vehicles. The initiative also sets a new benchmark for public-private collaboration in the Middle East’s smart logistics sector.

The signing ceremony was jointly witnessed by Mr. Kong Qi, CEO of Zelostech, and H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at RTA. The agreement was signed by Mr. Wang Yongbo, Head of Middle East Operations at Zelostech, and Mr. Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency — underscoring the partnership’s high-level and strategic importance.

Zelostech also held a high-level trilateral meeting with Dubai RTA and Emirates Post Group’s 7X — the UAE’s official postal operator and one of the region’s leading express delivery providers. The discussion, attended by Zelostech CEO Mr. Kong Qi, H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, and 7X CEO Mr. Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, focused on autonomous driving pilots, logistics free zone development, regulatory frameworks, and last-mile delivery innovation

Zelostech’s expansion in the Middle East has been years in the making. In February 2025, the company won the global championship at the DHL Autonomous Driving Challenge in Dubai, followed by pilot collaborations with DHL and Dubai South to test autonomous delivery operations and adapt technology to extreme desert conditions.

As the only autonomous delivery company invited to the 2025 Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress in Dubai, Zelostech attracted strong attention from representatives of 192 member states, reinforcing its position as “the global choice for autonomous postal logistics.”

Building on this foundation, Zelostech and Emirates Post Group’s 7X officially signed a joint venture agreement in May 2025, establishing a new regional headquarters in the UAE. The JV is set to begin commercial operations in 2026, supporting Dubai’s 2030 Vision goal of 25% autonomous mobility.

Together, these milestones mark Zelostech’s transition in the Middle East from technical validation to full-scale commercialization, solidifying its leadership in global autonomous logistics.
